BSc Sociology

Message from the Director, LSE External Study.

The academic direction of this degree is undertaken by the London School of Economic and Political Science (LSE).

This degree combines an in-depth study of the subject of sociology with a unique opportunity to focus on other social sciences, such as economics, or more vocational subjects, including management and information systems.

  • lasts between three and eight years (minimum two years on the Graduate Entry Route)

Graduate Entry Route
This provides an opportunity for graduates of any discipline to gain an additional undergraduate degree by following a shorter than normal programme, successfully completing nine full units rather than twelve. This can normally be achieved in a minimum of two years with the exception of the BSc Economics, BSc Development & Economics and the BSc Information Systems & Management.
